This lovely dress is made of a black silk that has a black metallic lame thread woven through it in a beautiful square check pattern

It is cut loose and easy with a tie belt to give it shape

The skirt is a wide Aline cut so there is a lot of fabric in there and you get a fantastic amount of movement

There are a few tiny pills to the crepe - a natural occurrence with this fabric

My client is sure that it had that label at one time and I have a very similar one that is shorter in my archives so am quite confident that it is indeed a Starr. The fabric is a fabulous metallic thread with an underlying pretty pattern under the gold thread that is woven through the fabric! The color is amazing it is a stunning combination of corals with little pops of other colors
