It features two high grade stainless steel probes mounted to a grounded twisted shielded pair with drain wire for signal insulation and use in close proximity to pump control conductors. The sensor is rated for low voltage DC use. When the probes contact clear water, the sensor sends a reading in the megaohm range. The black conductor is the anode, and the white conductor is the cathode.
