A George I Period Chest Veneered in Highly Figured Walnut Sofas Benches Stools Circa 1810-20Veneered in burl walnut and highly figured walnut, this chest of drawers is composed of two short drawers over three long graduated drawers surrounded by half round moldings. The top is veneered with a large central, quarter veneered oval outlined in feather banding. The drawers and sides of the carcass are also feather banded. The brasses and bun feet are later. Wonderful color and patina. Circa 1725 Origin English Stock# 13732 Width 38" Depth 22.
