It was a full afternoon of cruise ships

My plan was to find a good location with a view of the mountains and then see what the approach pattern was for the evening

Spending some time to capture the scene brought me the above photograph as well as some wet feet from standing on the landing for a couple of shots as well

Lighthouse at Cabrillo National Monument Size:18"x24" It was a full afternoonThe old lighthouse in Cabrillo National Park sits on top of the park, however there is plenty of more to do from whale watching in the winter, checking out the tide pools on the west side of the park or checking out the skyline of San Diego. Due to the location of the park it closes at 5: 00 PM, which means the nice light you will find for photography is limited to a few months of the year.
