The first 10 aircraft were ordered for the No. 860 Squadron of the Dutch Naval Aviation Service (MLD). The Hawker Sea Fury first flew in 1945 and was operational until 1956. The Hawker Sea Fury was the marine version of the Hawker Fury with folding wings and an arrester hook.
