Walking the same path over and again had seemed pointless

I returned determined to recreate something of the beauty of the place

I really liked the vertical lines of the standing trees disappearing into the distance with the horizontals of the felled trunks in the foreground

In the distance you can see the distinctive white bridge where the Snake Pass crosses the water as is starts it’s climb over the Pennine Hills
