there is evidence of minor pitting inside otherwise the shell is in excellent condition

When acquired

US FS FB #26 This shell was stripped toUS FS FB #26 Shell: The shell is an original WWII McCord Radiator with a front seam, stainless steel outer band, and fixed bales. The heat stamp is very faint and hard to read; I can make out 95B (I could only just make out the 9 Mar 42). When acquired the shell was painted in perhaps a post war olive drab with some evidence of the original texture beneath; there was a piece of white cloth tape around the front and down the sides.
